Meet the BNUSC Committee Roles

Our Club is proudly run by volunteers. Each role helps keep BNUSC strong, fair, and fun for everyone.

Here’s what each committee member does:

President
The President leads the club and ensures everything runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Chairs all meetings and represents BNUSC at official events.
- Oversees the annual plan and budget.
- Acts as the main contact for Football Victoria, Council and local partners.
- Promotes the club in the community and media.
- Supports coaches, players, and volunteers to be their best.
Secretary
The Secretary keeps our records, communication, and compliance in order.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares agendas, minutes, and correspondence.
- Club correspondence initial contact.
- Manages official club documents, policies, and licences.
- Coordinates the AGM and election process.
- Makes sure BNUSC meets its legal and regulatory requirements.
Vice President
The Vice President supports the President and steps in when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with leadership across the club.
- Chairs meetings in the President’s absence.
- Helps guide and mentor other committee members.
Treasurer
The Treasurer looks after the club’s finances and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Records all financial transactions and manages banking.
- Prepares budgets, monthly reports, and the annual financial report.
- Ensures accounts are audited and obligations are met.
- Oversees insurances, subscriptions, and the asset register.
General Committee Directors
Our General Committee Members each take charge of a special area of the club.
Portfolios:
Teams, On Field, Volunteers, Media & Comms, Fundraising, Facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Work with coordinators and volunteers in their area.
- Represent members and supporters by bringing ideas and feedback to the committee.
- Help run events, fundraisers, and club activities.

 

BNUSC AGM

Our AGM is held in October each year after the season has completed.

Who Can Vote at the BNUSC AGM?
Voting rights at BNUSC are held by current financial members of the club. This includes:
  • Registered players aged 18 or over
  • One parent or legal guardian of each registered player under 18
  • Elected Committee Members
  • Life Members
  • Panthers Club (Social Club) Members — paid supporters who hold a valid social membership for the current year
Who cannot vote:
  • General supporters who are not financial members
  • Casual volunteers who are not formally registered as an official, player, or social club member
  • Junior players under 18 (they are represented by their parent/guardian)
