Training sessions are not only fun but allow the girls to develop soccer skills within a structured program.

In 2020 our girls have the option of playing in girls only Women’s Open and U16’s and U12’s competitions.  Our supportive junior and miniroos coaching team ensure girls playing in mixed teams are well supported.

Game Day Playing Uniform

  • BNUSC shorts*
  • BNUSC socks
  • Playing top provided by the Club
  • Suitable football boots
  • Shin guards

* Mini Roos (U8-11) – BNUSC shorts are optional and can be purchased from the Club.  Otherwise plain black shorts are acceptable.

Secondhand boots are available for sale, $10 per pair at the club equipment room.   We welcome donations of boots no longer required.

Aldi MiniRoos

MiniRoos training will be on Thursdays 4.30pm at Russell Square commencing Thursday 5th March.

ALDI MiniRoos is a nation-wide initiative, designed for kids of all abilities, aged 4 – 11 years. It uses short, fun, game-based sessions to introduce soccer to newcomers in an inclusive way. MiniRoos focuses on learning new skills, being active, all while having a great time!

At BNUSC we are happy to welcome all kids, boy and girls, across multiple ages.

Ballarat North United Soccer club is a member of the Ballarat District Soccer Association. Together, our laws and regulations are governed by Football Federation Victoria and Football Federation Australia. The over riding body in internation soccer is FIFA.

Miniroos (U7, U8, U9 and U11) play a modified form of the game. The National Miniroos Rules provides details of these changes.
