Female Football Week at BNUSC

Since 2014, Female Football Week has celebrated the vital role of women and girls in all aspects of the game - players, coaches, volunteers & supporters! Following the Matildas’ success on the world stage, there's no better time to honour the community champions and trailblazers shaping Australian football.

Through the week of May 2nd to 11th, BNUSC will recognise the invaluable contribution of women within our club community. 

• Female Football Week Raffle

  • Beautiful Springhill Farm Hamper to be won! Tickets will be available to purchase online all week. Tickets $2 each or 3 for $5.

  • Winner will be drawn at Half Time during the Mother's Day Div 1 Womens Showcase Match. 

• Thursday 8th May 5pm - 6pm - Women's Walking Football

  • All Mums, Grandmothers, Sisters and female friends are invited to participate in a Walking Football Session during Junior Training! Pop on your runners and join in some friendly fun. 

• Sunday 11th May 3pm - Womens' Mother's Day Showcase Match

  • Division 1 Women - BNUSC v Forest Rangers on Pitch 1

  • Female Guard of Honour - an all female guard of honour to welcome both teams onto the pitch - tell all the ladies and girls you know to join in! 

  • Wear a touch of pink and purple (colours of female football week).

• Sunday 4th / 11th May (Various Times) - Junior Girls Matches

  • Any home games for our U10, U12 and U14 Girls Teams will feature an all female guard of honour to welcome both teams onto the pitch - tell all the ladies and girls you know to join in! 

• Sunday 4th / 11th May (Various Times) - Kids Fun on The Deck

  • Design your own Kit & soccer themed colouring

  • Bubble Machine

  • Poster Making - design your own poster to cheer on your female teams! 

• Her Story / Your Story - all week online

  • Her Story - we will be sharing stories & photographs of our female football community on our socials. 

  • Share your story and what you love about being a Panther using the hashtag #FFW_PANTHERS
